    S Series

The S series of 6 phase alternators offers incredible output in a compact and durable package. Highly efficient, these units use less horsepower per Kw produced than conventional 3 phase alternators. 12 diodes, twin full copper rectifier plates and outstanding airflow ensure long service life, even in severe conditions. The 240-amp model offers the best balance between peak output, and output at engine idle RPM.

    Installation Notes:

    1.  This unit comes equipped with a smaller 1.75-inch diameter alternator pulley and will require a slightly shorter drive belt to be installed for proper belt tension.

    2.  While this 320-amp alternator does make more power than our 240-amp offering, in some applications it may cause a low to no voltage output at idle.  We always recommend our 240-amp version for 95% of customers.

    3.  If your vehicle does have a low or stock idle (400-600rpms), the 240 amp version is most likely your better option.  If you do not mind moving your idle up <200 rpms> or so or can rev the vehicle up while stopped the 320 create more power.  It all comes down to personal preference for the customers application.

    Great Alternator!

This was a great alternator for my 07 Sequoia! One thing to keep in mind, this is a SMALL case and you will lose amps at low RPM. I chose this one over the larger one for my car audio application. I currently use both :)

    AMAZING!

This thing is a UNIT! 6k RMS and 400Ah of battery reserve barely make this thing break a sweat @ 1800rpm. I will say at IDLE, my Sequoia is running on battery when it drops to ~550 rpm. That’s normal behavior for High Output alternators and this model Toyota. I recommend a beefy battery bank and stout electrical for daily application. I wouldn’t recommend this one for demo purposes. Get the 240– you’ll thank me later.
